Conclusion - If You Build It, They Will Come
One of the most popular movies of the late 1980's was the Kevin Costner's film Field of Dreams.
Costner's character Ray Kinsella is walking through his cornfield and hears a mysterious voice saying "If you build it, he will come." It is often misquoted as "If you build it, they will come."
He has a vision to plow under a fair size of his cornfield and replace it with a full size baseball field, complete with lights. His crazy move has his neighbors worried and he takes a financial hit to do it. He is at risk of losing his farm.
Nevertheless, his dream comes true when ghosts of long dead baseball players emerge from his cornfield to play baseball on his field.
Stories Behind the Stars is a 21st Century Field of Dreams.
One man had a dream that everyone of the 421,000 US WWII fallen should have their stories remembered forever. He left his career to chase this dream alone, but soon had hundreds of people helping him.
Now thanks to the help of what will soon to be thousands of additional volunteers, these US WWII fallen ghosts are emerging from the cornfield.
Thanks for helping to Build It.
They Will Come.
